Real Dorset Gin trap, medium quality, 4” forged square serrated jaws. Heavy wire torsion spring, galvanised steel treadle, brass catch and tongue. For rabbits and other vermin. Treadle stamped PLUMB BOB. Tongue stamped REGD No.701488. No maker’s mark. Length 10¼”. c.1920. Fitted with stake and original chain.
