Description
This is a lovely old English trap, made by James Roberts of Wednesfield, in excellent condition with clear brand stamps on the hand forged steel springs. It is all original, with very strong folding springs.
It would have been used for badgers or foxes, some were also exported to Australia for catching dingos.
Each spring is stamped with J. ROBERTS’S REGD TRADE MARK with the RELIANCE shield pictorial
It has got massive 9 1/4 inch rounded Dorset type jaws
