An used example of an original postcard from the Republic of Congo, circa 1910.
It shows a leopard trap constructed from planks and logs.
Fairly good condition considering age; some foxing
2/3 creases on card
card ripped (white mark) on bottom left-hand side of stamp
slight corner wear

The message on the rear of the card translates roughly as:
My dear wife, I’m in good health despite the high temperatures – I hope you are too despite the severe cold of next winter – I’ll be there – on my way – Love
