Description
An example of an extremely hard to find early DUFFUS mole trap. Patent No.203484 (1924) by John Duffus of Forfarshire, Scotland.
In great condition with a faint but readable stamp. As well as the “J. DUFFUS AND SON” this trap is also stamped “PATENT” which indicates it is an early trap, probably made by the family themselves.
In this older version of the trap the noose is bound to the spring with fine wire.
