SP 1800s Frame Based Otter Trap
This very early trap has a flat spring stamped with maker’s initials ‘SP’, and 6 inch serrated jaws.
In excellent overall condition, complete with original chain and peg. Makers mark SP visible on the main spring.
The base is all hand forged with a protective frame around the jaws when set. Made in late 1800s as an otter or fox trap.
