Listed for sale as an antique French mole gun, purchased in France about 10 years ago. Used with ‘black powder’. Once set, the mole comes along the tunnel and knocks the lever, which sets off the explosion. Estimated date other early 1900
** This has been alternatively identified as a Mouse Killer, 1862 Percussion trap gun, made in USA and it seems that may be correct. While this is an original or very early copy, there are several reproduction versions available in the USA. This video shows one of those in use. Black Powder Mouse Gun **

This trap has a reserve and a target end time of midnight July 26th. If a bid is received within 24 hours of the target end date, the end date will be extended to give a clear 24 hours between the last bid update on the listing and the end of the auction.
On completion the winning bidder will be contacted to complete the sale. Where the item is to be collected the buyer may be required to pay Vintage Traps a non-refundable 10% deposit, after which the details of collection and final payment will be released.
