The doors are hinged from the top using a set of simple loops, made from the ends of the door mesh. A stop is made from an angles piece of wire across the bottom of the opening and the doors are closed by a spring powered locking bar. When set the door is held open by a wire rod, looped to the top of the cage and fixed to the trigger plate.
