Pricing is a difficult and sometimes sensitive issue. Where we own the traps ourselves, we set prices based on what we think the going rate is in the market. Where we’re selling traps on behalf of someone else, this is more complex and pricing is not always under our direct control.
Very often the owner of a trap will have their own view on what it’s worth, perhaps based on what they paid for it or through their own research. Our policy is to agree an approach that gives them the confidence that they are being treated fairly.
This mix of opinion can lead to some wide variations in prices and to prices changing over time. Particularly in these early days I would urge you to keep an eye on any item that you are interested in. Possibly even let us know so that we can advise you if the prices change.
