A pair of vintage mole traps, triggers and a purpose made setting tool. These are French made steel traps used by being pushed long a mole tunnel. These are a ‘single direction’ trap and the mole trapper would locate and dig down to a mole run and then insert one trap in each exposed tunnel . To find a matching setting tool is quite rare – it’s designed for prising the legs apart to enable a wire setter to be inserted. Maker: E Arouze, Paris. c.1920. Price £65 plus shipping
