An example of a small Gin Trap that would perhaps have been intended for rats and other small ground vermin. This one has a riveted spring arm and an unusal bait spike on the pan
It has 2½” pressed out square serrated jaws, a flat spring with iron treadle and tongue.
There is no maker’s mark.

Length 8½”.Fitted with original chain.
